What happens when a ranch owner with a secret falls for her horse trainer who plans to move on in a few months?
Charlotte Honeycutt, who has run her family ranch since her mother passed away, discovers her mother’s long-kept secret about the identity of Charlotte’s biological father and two half-brothers. Charlotte confides her secret in her gifted horse trainer and he helps her navigate her new family dynamics.
Gunner Dawson is just passing through and has no desire to settle down anywhere permanently. However, the pretty Charlotte, her ranch, and a friendship with her newly found family have Gunner rethinking his aversion to staying in one place.
Wildflower Falls is the last book in Denise Hunter's Riverbend series and, by far, my favorite. I stayed up until one o'clock in the morning (that's very late for me) to finish this lovely book. Warning: have a box of tissues nearby—it's a tearjerker.
(Note: I received a copy from the publisher via NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.)
