Published: December 5, 2022 Series: Boulder Creek Romance #2 Pages: 258, Kindle Edition Genre: Historical Christian Romance Setting: Boulder Creek, Idaho, 1898 What do you do when the man you’ve agreed to marry is not your heart’s desire, but his wayward older brother is? Sarah McNeal’s long-held girlish fantasy of traveling to far-off places and being swept up by a handsome nobleman is dead. Instead, she will be married in a few weeks time to a man she doesn’t love but whom her beloved grandmother practically handpicked for her. Then handsome Jeremiah West, her soon-to-be brother-in-law, returns after being away for fourteen years. And Sarah discovers feelings for him that she has never had for a man, especially not her fiancé. Jeremiah West comes home to run the farm he inherited from his father and to forge a relationship with his younger brother. Life hasn't been easy since leaving Boulder Creek with a bride and against his father’s wishes. He bears the weight of guilt that he failed to protect his wife and newborn son, who both perished in an epidemic. And war left him with a limp. Because he cannot be trusted to take care of another wife, Jeremiah tells himself he will never remarry. And then he loses his heart to his brother’s bride-to-be. Author Robin Lee Hatcher effortlessly transports the reader to the world of 1898 Boulder Creek, Idaho. She perfectly blends history, romance, and faith. Hatcher’s characters are flawed but lovable, and you root for them to trust each other, themselves, and, more importantly, God. All She Ever Dreamed is one of those books you want to curl up and read straight through to the end in one sitting. Which I almost did. *You can find Robin at RobinLeeHatcher.com |
